This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
β’ You analyze laboratory results across various diagnostic fields to deliver clear and cohesive insights.
β’ You may conduct post-mortem examinations on production animals.
β’ You perform histopathology and/or cytopathology on samples submitted from all species.
β’ You collaborate closely with production animal veterinarians, offering specialized guidance and support.
β’ You integrate findings from clinical pathology, serology, parasitology, and other data sources.
β’ You aid in creating a more comprehensive diagnostic approach within the large animal sector.
β’ You engage meaningfully and practically with the local veterinary and farming community.
β’ You possess qualifications in veterinary pathology or a related discipline, with significant experience in large animal pathology.
β’ You have experience in various diagnostic fields (e.g., anatomic/clinical pathology, parasitology, serology, microbiology, and molecular biology).
β’ You are adept at interpreting and correlating complex data sets to reach clear conclusions.
β’ You have practical experience in conducting post-mortems.
β’ You possess a strong working knowledge of New Zealand's pastoral farming systems.
β’ You are located in New Zealand and have an understanding of the local industry landscape.
β’ You hold working rights in NZ as a veterinarian.
β’ You are confident in engaging directly with veterinarians and fostering trusted relationships.
β’ You are adaptable and enjoy working across a diverse range of tasks.
