Vertical Market Development Manager – Education, Sports Performance

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete Education & Sports Performance development from your local area.

• Market new and upgraded fitness equipment along with associated services for schools, universities, training facilities, and sports performance settings.

• Identify and reach out to institutions, departments, athletic organizations, and training leaders directly.

• Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and discovery to proposal, closing, and order coordination.

• Assist with design, procurement, installation, service, asset management, and warranty management.

• Focus on your local market as well as broader Education & Sports Performance opportunities.

• Utilize our comprehensive service advantages over OEMs and national chains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience selling to schools, colleges, universities, athletic departments, training facilities, or similar institutional buyers.

• Demonstrated capability to generate and finalize business in education, athletics, or other relationship-driven B2B environments.

• Existing connections with athletic directors, university contacts, school leaders, coaches, or training facility managers are highly advantageous.

• Self-motivated hunter who excels in relationship sales and stakeholder coordination.

• Availability during daytime hours Monday to Friday with flexibility for travel.

• Knowledgeable about Education & Sports Performance needs including performance equipment, budget cycles, approval processes, and reliable service support.

• Access to reliable transportation for campus visits, training facilities, and in-person meetings.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Must pass a clean background check and drug screening.
