Venture Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of venture capital managers.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of each fund’s stage, objectives, and operational requirements, assisting them in utilizing the VC Lab and Decile Group ecosystem.

• Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, product, operations) to provide timely and high-quality support.

• Monitor and manage interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes using our internal tools.

• Identify ways to enhance the fund manager experience and communicate insights across the team.

• Engage in continuous learning about the venture ecosystem, contributing to the improvement of our products and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in customer success, account management, or client operations within a high-touch SaaS or professional services environment.

• 1–2 years of experience in venture capital, fund administration, startup finance, or related fields.

• Strong digital literacy and ability to quickly learn new tools (CRMs, project management, finance systems, etc.).

• Demonstrated capability to manage complex, cross-functional customer issues while keeping multiple stakeholders aligned.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; remains composed and professional during video calls and in high-pressure situations.

• High emotional intelligence, empathy, and commitment to follow-through.

• Self-motivated and proactive — you take initiative to close loops.

• Analytical and detail-oriented, with systematic problem-solving abilities.

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, globally distributed startup environment.

• Bonus/Nice to Have: Experience in accelerators, venture studios, or startup communities.

• Familiarity with fund formation, LP reporting, or legal documentation processes.

• Proficiency in multiple languages or a global perspective.
