Vendor & Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of Veremark’s relationships with third-party data providers across all markets.

• Develop and sustain Veremark’s global vendor strategy.

• Lead the analysis and selection process for vendors in new markets and varying types.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, volume commitments, SLAs, and contractual agreements with all third-party data providers.

• Ensure all vendors comply with Veremark’s compliance standards.

• Define and implement a framework for managing vendor performance.

• Serve as Veremark’s main point of contact for all strategic vendor relationships.

• Cultivate strong relationships with vendor account managers and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management in a technology, data services, or professional services environment.

• Experience in background screening, HR technology, fintech, or regtech is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated success in commercial negotiation—having personally negotiated contracts, pricing, and SLAs with data providers or technology vendors, showing measurable cost savings or performance enhancements.

• Strong understanding of data protection and compliance frameworks (with GDPR at a minimum; familiarity with multi-jurisdictional data privacy laws is a significant advantage).

• Experience in developing and managing vendor governance frameworks, risk registers, and performance scorecards.

• Analytical and commercially savvy — capable of modeling unit economics, understanding pass-through margins, and presenting vendor cost analyses to senior leadership.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable presenting to C-suite stakeholders and negotiating with senior vendor representatives.

• Self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
