Vendor Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee vendor performance in terms of SLA, quality, and cost.

• Develop and sustain a scalable network of vendors across various regions.

• Assess and replace vendors that are underperforming.

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for hardware and field service partners.

• Compare technical and commercial solutions in accordance with internal standards.

• Carry out the procurement of hardware, materials, and services.

• Analyze bids, negotiate prices, and manage contracts effectively.

• Monitor and control costs for each project and work order.

• Identify inefficiencies and work to reduce unnecessary expenses.

• Benchmark vendor performance across different regions and categories.

• Coordinate the delivery of hardware and ensure vendor availability.

• Track timelines to guarantee readiness for execution.

• Prevent delays due to missing materials or misalignment with vendors.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to facilitate execution.

• Ensure that vendors are aligned with project timelines and scopes.

• Serve as a liaison between vendors, operations, and project teams.

• Monitor execution performance, including response and resolution times.

• Ensure that vendors meet operational SLAs.

• Identify and resolve recurring issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or field operations.

• Experience collaborating with suppliers, contractors, or technical vendors.

• Proven experience in sourcing hardware or managing service providers.

• Strong negotiation and cost management capabilities.

• Ability to operate effectively in execution-focused environments.

• Analytical mindset, comfortable working with cost and performance data.

• Strong sense of ownership and decision-making ability.

• Proficient in using AI tools in daily workflows.

• Fluent in Spanish and possess intermediate to advanced English skills.

• Reliable remote work environment.

• Nice to have: Experience in HVAC, BMS, EMS, or IoT-related fields.

• Nice to have: Background in field service operations or multi-site maintenance.

• Nice to have: Experience with US-based vendor networks.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with procurement processes in technical settings.
