VDC Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create project-specific BIM execution plans, inclusive of Level of Detail (LOD) specifications and BIM standards.

• Examine construction schedules to ensure clarity of BIM priorities and effective use of time.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers (PMs), Assistant Project Managers (APMs), and Work Package Coordinators.

• Analyze new drawing releases to identify modifications impacting BIM efforts and reduce field errors and rework.

• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, promote communication, and ensure fulfillment of project requirements.

• Guarantee the precision and quality of 3D models and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) deliverables utilizing Navisworks, Liquid Cloud, and Open Space.

• Aid in the implementation of best practices and the development of project-specific VDC strategies.

• Ensure effective application of VDC workflows and standards.

• Keep the Trello Blue Board regularly updated.

• Review installation drawings for compliance with company standards and project requirements, then submit them for approval.

• Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new VDC technologies and workflows.

• Help establish models for new projects.

• Understanding of BIM/VDC principles and workflows.

• Experience in project planning and scheduling.

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaboration.

• Capability to lead and mentor teams, enforce safety protocols, and cultivate a positive working environment.

• Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations.

• Exceptional time management skills.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.

• Experience with 3D installation tracking software such as Open Space and Assemble.

• Preferred: proficiency in Trello, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
