This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Increase sales and market presence in a designated territory by promoting, selling, and servicing Vascular products.
• Actively pursue new accounts and encourage the adoption of DCB, Atherectomy, and the complete Peripheral Vascular product range for PAD.
• Organize, plan, and ethically manage territory administration and expense control.
• Provide training to medical personnel on products and procedures.
• Achieve sales, budget, and account development objectives.
• Design and implement ongoing sales strategies and plans to reach goals and expand market share.
• Recognize opportunities within existing and new customer bases and enhance account penetration.
• Track market trends and competitive insights and relay information to sales management.
• Ensure comprehensive account coverage across various geographic areas within the territory.
• Control expenses while adhering to financial, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, clients, staff, and administrators.
• Leverage disciplined pricing, contracts, and partnerships to boost business and product promotion.
• Comprehend customer requirements, address objections, build consensus, secure commitments, and finalize deals.
• Organize and present sales/product demonstrations.
• Sustain existing business while exploring new opportunities.
• Represent Medtronic at industry events and pursue potential sales leads.
• Formulate strategies to counter competitive threats.
• Educate customers and address any complaints.
• Collaborate with physicians for case planning, manage expectations, and support clinical cases.
• Engage physicians in clinical discussions regarding Peripheral Vascular products.
• Conduct business in compliance with ethical standards, regulations, and FDA requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing, customer service, finance, and other internal departments.
• Relay market intelligence, competitor actions, sales leads, pricing, and account status to sales management.
• Contribute to a strong team-oriented environment.
• Maintain up-to-date technical and clinical knowledge of products and understand competitor offerings.
• Participate in product and skills enhancement programs.
• Stay informed about the reimbursement landscape.
• Reside within the designated territory and travel to multiple accounts across the region.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience, OR an Associate’s Degree with 8+ years of experience, OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical settings, or a related field within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• At least 6 years of B2B or Healthcare Sales experience, including 4 years focused on selling Medical devices or medical capital equipment.
• Familiarity with operating room, hospital, and physician office protocols and conduct.
• Ability to educate and instruct medical staff, peers, and technical support personnel.
• Capability to work in Cath Labs.
• Willingness to travel extensively by car and plane.
• Flexibility to conduct company business outside the standard Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be evaluated.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Capacity to sit, stand, or walk for 6–8 hours each day.
• Competence in operating a moving vehicle.
• Ability to work in environments with infectious diseases, radiation, and bloodborne pathogens.
• Must wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment for positions below the Principal level.
• Foreign-earned bachelor’s degrees must meet the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
