Validation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute testing and validation tasks within set timelines to facilitate client go-live schedules.

• Evaluate table configurations, standard operating procedures, and software solution questionnaires to establish validation strategies and adjust scripts for execution.

• Detect and document issues or errors encountered during testing that differ from the client-supplied materials, and communicate findings to senior team members or management for assessment and resolution.

• Collaborate closely with the project team to provide updates on testing status, address concerns, and promptly resolve issues with the designated owner.

• Maintain a strong understanding of at least one solution platform and show the capability to learn additional platforms across the business unit.

• Draft written communications to the client regarding validation status updates, review them with senior team members or management, and deliver them to relevant stakeholders.

• Carry out other job responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience with the WellSky Transfusion solution.

• Current ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification.

• Background in software validation, testing, or quality assurance within a regulated healthcare environment (preferred).

• Experience with WellSky Blood Centers and/or WellSky Biotherapies solutions (preferred).
