UX/Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Complying with all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and required training.

• Implementing technology and other solutions to enhance our eCommerce, digital marketing, email marketing, and corporate websites.

• Creating frontend user flows, coding, layouts, and visual elements based on project specifications.

• Integrating and customizing Shopify themes and applications to achieve the desired functionalities.

• Updating and maintaining existing websites by enhancing current features and introducing new ones.

• Developing user interfaces in line with brand and design guidelines for optimal performance.

• Identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

• Performing routine daily maintenance on existing sites and applications.

• Documenting technical specifications, project details, and adhering to development processes.

• Ensuring adherence to company best practices and compliance in all marketing technology integrations and developments.

• Keeping informed about industry trends and emerging web development technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in UI/Web development.

• Proficient with Shopify platforms.

• Experience in building custom WordPress websites.

• Familiarity with user experience design principles and methodologies.

• Proven experience collaborating with technical and creative teams to achieve objectives.

• Proficient in one or more industry-standard prototyping tools (e.g., Invision, Figma, Balsamiq, etc.).

• Strong expertise in Liquid/PHP/HTML/JAVASCRIPT/CSS, with an emphasis on clean and maintainable code.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.

• Comprehensive understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.

• Advanced knowledge of the WordPress core software and its coding functions.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, listening, presentation abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects with a focus on quality, attention to detail, and exceptional teamwork and internal communication skills.

• A passion for e-commerce and an in-depth understanding of user experience (UX).
