Senior Front End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and manage customized templates, components, and themeable blocks within the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform.

• Build responsive user interfaces utilizing React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Webpack, and other related front-end technologies.

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, refactor, and optimize current applications for improved performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, content creators, and developers to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Engage in Agile planning, sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and release management through Azure DevOps.

• Apply CI/CD best practices and assist with automated testing.

• Ensure adherence to CPS coding standards, accessibility (WCAG), security protocols, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

• Generate technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to CPS personnel.

• Offer technical leadership and guidance on front-end development best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least five (5) years of professional experience in front-end development.

• Proficiency in developing solutions using the Optimizely/Episerver Digital Experience Platform.

• Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with C#, ASP.NET MVC (Razor), SQL Server, Continuous Integration, and automated testing practices.

• Exceptional analytical, debugging, communication, and documentation skills.

• Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating within Agile teams.
