UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Transform business requirements and user needs into engaging, user-friendly experiences.

• Create comprehensive design flows, including wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journeys.

• Work in close partnership with Product Managers and Engineers to transition projects from concept to launch.

• Clearly communicate and present design solutions to stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Contribute to and advance POWR’s design system to maintain consistency and scalability.

• Conduct and analyze user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.) to guide design choices.

• Collaborate with fellow designers to share feedback and continuously enhance design quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in UX/UI, Product Design, or a related discipline.

• A strong understanding of UX principles (in-depth UX knowledge is a plus).

• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design methodologies.

• Experience or interest in AI-driven tools and workflows.

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS or similar; AI-assisted coding tools like Claude are acceptable).

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of advancing work with a sense of urgency.

• Comfortable working remotely with a global team.

• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, agile setting.

• Nice to Have: Experience in writing product specifications or reviewing designs for engineering.

• Nice to Have: Experience designing for live products, particularly in a SaaS context.

• Nice to Have: Proficiency in Figma.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools like Shortcut.

• Nice to Have: Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

• Nice to Have: Exposure to databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
