UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive UX/UI deliverables from initial exploration and conceptualization to high-fidelity execution.

• Design wireframes, prototypes, and refined interface designs that align usability, business objectives, and technical limitations.

• Create, enhance, and sustain design systems that ensure consistency, scalability, and adaptability across various products.

• Conduct UX research activities such as usability testing and user interviews to guide design choices.

• Utilize Figma for design, prototyping, documentation, and collaboration purposes.

• Leverage AI-driven tools like Figma AI and Claude to enhance efficiency, creativity, and the quality of designs.

• Collaborate with client product teams to identify challenges, develop solutions, and achieve desired outcomes.

• Work alongside engineers, strategists, and delivery leads to implement designs effectively.

• Engage in agile workflows while managing multiple projects, clients, and sectors.

• Assume full ownership of the design process from start to finish.

• Contribute to internal projects such as marketing efforts, pitches, and the advancement of the design discipline.

• Innovate, introduce fresh concepts, and commit to ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer focused on digital products or platforms.

• Strong practical design skills with extensive proficiency in Figma.

• Experience in building and maintaining design systems within real-world product contexts.

• Familiarity with UX research methodologies, including usability testing and user interviews.

• Direct experience collaborating with clients or cross-functional product teams.

• Capability to provide and receive constructive design feedback.

• Ability to adjust design strategies across diverse industries, user groups, and problem domains.

• A keen interest and enthusiasm for AI-assisted design tools and workflows such as Figma AI and Claude.

• Experience in motion design, advanced prototyping tools, front-end concepts, or facilitating workshops is advantageous.
