This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Act as the bridge between user requirements and engineering deliverables for WunderGraph’s developer-oriented digital product platform.
• Manage the entire design lifecycle for web and product interfaces, from the initial discovery phase to delivery and ongoing post-launch iterations.
• Conduct user interviews and various research activities to refine features and guide UX strategy.
• Create and prototype user flows, interfaces, interactions, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Define and enhance the design system and component library across both product and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers on feasibility, quality assurance, handoffs, and technical decision-making.
• Perform surveys, usability testing, competitor research, and discovery workshops.
• Transform research findings into insights, personas, journey maps, opportunity areas, and UX success metrics.
• Maintain a searchable shared repository of insights.
• Champion user needs in prioritization and roadmap discussions.
• Oversee WunderGraph’s online presence, including landing pages, visuals, campaign graphics, and interactive components.
• Develop the style guide and enhance brand storytelling with motion graphics and interactive elements.
• Mentor team members and disseminate research and design expertise.
• Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams; report directly to the VP of Product.
• Senior-level experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
• Established experience in planning and executing generative and evaluative UX research.
• Proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid background in UX and interaction design, accessibility, responsive design, and usability practices.
• Experience in contributing to or leading design systems and component libraries.
• Comfortable utilizing data and research to inform and justify design decisions.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML/CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and collaborative skills in English.
• Self-motivated individual who thrives in ambiguous situations and can independently lead initiatives.
• Able to work 100% remotely within a distributed team.
