UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and assess user requirements for the creation of user-centered designs.

• Develop personas, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.

• Design graphical user interfaces and navigational elements such as menus, tabs, widgets, and search fields.

• Create UI mockups and prototypes that effectively demonstrate the functionality and appearance of websites.

• Convert requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and visually appealing user interfaces.

• Prepare and present initial drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.

• Identify and address UX issues, including responsiveness challenges.

• Make layout modifications based on user feedback gathered from interviews and usability testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in UX/UI and visual design.

• Proficient in research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and visual communication.

• Preferred experience in layout design, data visualization, infographics, and visual storytelling.

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

• Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Highly proactive with strong critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

• Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative, and learns quickly.

• Capable of working effectively both in a team setting and independently.

• Exhibits creative judgment and decision-making criteria.

• Takes responsibility for projects, ensuring quality and timely execution of tasks.

• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
