This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to identify and suggest user-centric enhancements for products.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for clearly defined and moderately complex challenges.
• Question requirements and propose improved user-focused solutions as necessary.
• Contribute to and uphold the design system, ensuring uniformity and identifying deficiencies.
• Conduct and assist with UX research activities, which include usability testing and synthesizing findings.
• Define interaction patterns, feedback states, and error-handling procedures.
• Work alongside engineers to guarantee high-quality UI implementation.
• Clearly communicate design solutions to developers and stakeholders.
• Engage in design reviews, present work, and iterate based on feedback.
• Leverage available data and product metrics to guide design decisions.
• Contribute to design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Stay informed about the latest UI trends, technologies, and design practices.
• Independently utilize AI tools and contribute to enhancing team workflows.
• Design experiences for web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
• Transform product and design metrics into feature enhancements that have a business impact.
• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Service Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• 3–5+ years of experience in designing interfaces for intricate digital products.
• Strong expertise in Figma, including auto-layout, component architecture, prototyping, and file organization.
• Solid grasp of visual design principles (typography, layout, color, iconography, and spacing).
• Experience in working with and contributing to design systems.
• Strong knowledge of UX principles, including interaction design, usability heuristics, and flow design.
• Experience in conducting user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) and converting insights into design decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to present and justify design choices to stakeholders and teams.
• Proactive mindset, capable of identifying UX improvements without awaiting guidance.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices for responsive design.
• Experience utilizing AI tools in the design process and identifying opportunities for workflow enhancements.
• Awareness of cognitive biases that affect design decisions (e.g., confirmation bias, anchoring).
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (preferred but not essential).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering (preferred but not essential).
• Advanced proficiency in English, with experience working with distributed teams and stakeholders.
