UX Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct user research activities to support a cloud-based enterprise digital services platform.

• Design and facilitate usability testing sessions to evaluate user interactions with platform features and workflows.

• Gather and analyze user feedback, platform usage patterns, and research data to pinpoint usability enhancements.

• Work in collaboration with the Human Centered Design Lead, product owners, and engineering teams to convert research insights into design and feature recommendations.

• Create research artifacts including user personas, journey maps, and usability reports.

• Assist in user experience evaluations of new features and enhancements during development cycles.

• Ensure that implemented capabilities fulfill user needs and enhance platform usability.

• Engage in Agile delivery activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of five years of experience in user research, usability testing, or user experience analysis.

• Proficient in conducting usability testing sessions or gathering structured user feedback.

• Skilled in analyzing qualitative or quantitative data related to user behavior or system usage.

• Experience in Agile delivery environments and collaboration with development or product teams.

• Strong analytical and communication skills, capable of translating research findings into actionable recommendations.

• Background in supporting web-based applications or digital services platforms.

• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment and government background check, including FBI fingerprints.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• A valid driver’s license, transportation, and auto insurance are necessary.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Relevant user experience research or usability certifications are advantageous.
