UX Project Manager, ICAM SSO Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee UX-driven project management for the modernization of Single Sign-On (SSO), ensuring that user flows, onboarding experiences, and authentication processes are optimized and uniform.

• Collaborate with VA stakeholders, product owners, and technical leads to convert ICAM requirements into precise UX deliverables, such as journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and acceptance criteria.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement UX enhancements across Entra ID (SSOi) and Okta (SSOe) integrations.

• Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables associated with UX-focused SSO projects.

• Ensure that UX recommendations are in accordance with Zero Trust principles, NIST 800-63 standards, and VA ICAM guidelines.

• Assist in change management, communication, and training materials aimed at enhancing user experience.

• Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and briefings on UX advancements and SSO adoption metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in UX processes, including user research, prototyping, usability testing, and journey mapping.

• Solid understanding of ICAM, SSO, and authentication technologies such as Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, MFA, federation, OAuth/OIDC/SAML.

• Capacity to translate intricate technical identity workflows into user-friendly experiences.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of briefing leadership and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting Agile teams and managing iterative UX deliverables.

• Background in supporting VA, DoD, or other federal agencies.

• Familiarity with VA SSO, onboarding procedures, and application integration models.

• Proficient in tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe XD, Jira, and Confluence.
