UX & Product Designer – Customer Journey Stream

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the UX across various product domains, from identifying problems to delivering production-ready solutions.

• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Engineering, Data, and Business teams.

• Create user flows, UX concepts, and UI designs for both web and mobile platforms throughout the customer journey.

• Develop measurable hypotheses alongside PM and Data teams, and derive design and product strategies.

• Design and facilitate A/B tests, experiments, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives.

• Assess impact using pertinent UX and business key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.

• Convert insights into tangible product enhancements.

• Advance the design system “Pulse” utilizing Figma and Storybook.

• Maintain consistency, reusability, and accessibility in design.

• Collaborate closely with the frontend guild.

• Experiment with new design and prototyping techniques, including those supported by AI.

• Actively engage in the UX & Product Design practice, helping to evolve standards and methodologies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in UX or Product Design, preferably in B2C e-commerce, digital platforms, or high-traffic products.

• Proficient in conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and hypothesis-driven product development.

• Strong expertise in Figma.

• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries, particularly Storybook.

• Experience in user research, usability testing, and analytics.

• A solid understanding of user needs, digital design, and cohesive customer journeys.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams.

• Independent, organized, and pragmatic approach to work.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Nice to have: experience with AI-assisted prototyping or design-to-code methodologies.

• Nice to have: technical knowledge of components, design tokens, and modern frontend architectures.

• Nice to have: understanding of Accessibility / WCAG or low-code prototyping.

• Nice to have: experience in retail or sports sectors.
