Senior Product Designer – AI and Platform Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Convert conceptual designs into production-ready user experiences

• Create thorough interaction designs, specifications, and documentation for developer handoff

• Design for edge cases, empty states, loading states, and error management

• Enhance platform experiences as requirements change

• Ensure adherence to platform principles and design standards

• Collaborate with Engineering during implementation, addressing questions and offering quick design support

• Oversee engineering channels, troubleshoot UX issues, and confirm implementations align with design intent

• Deliver refined visual design, interaction design, and motion specifications

• Contribute to shared patterns and reusable assets while upholding quality across delivered experiences

• Utilize AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to develop interactive prototypes, fostering discovery, experimentation, iteration, and validation

• Work together with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and cross-functional partners on Cisco Cloud Control and AI Canvas experiences

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 1+ year of relevant experience

• Previous experience in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design for intricate enterprise settings

• Proficiency in layout systems, typography, structure, color, grid application, and graphic composition

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Research teams from concept to delivery

• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and/or prototyping tools within the product design process

• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills alongside strong prototyping capabilities

• Advanced expertise in AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows
