This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Assume complete responsibility for UX, design excellence, and user journeys throughout the product.
• Transform UX into a quantifiable growth driver — actively enhancing activation, retention, and conversion rates.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Growth teams to design and refine funnels, onboarding processes, paywalls, and retention strategies.
• Conduct audits and consistently enhance the comprehensive user journey — from initial acquisition to long-term retention.
• Independently analyze product analytics — including Mixpanel funnels, cohort studies, retention patterns, and drop-off analysis.
• Directly link UX decisions to business metrics — such as activation rates, retention curves, LTV, and conversion rates.
• Formulate hypotheses, experiments, and success metrics for every UX initiative undertaken.
• Utilize session recordings (Clarity, FullStory, Hotjar), heatmaps, and behavioral data to pinpoint friction points.
• Actively seek and define new analytics instrumentation and reporting requirements in collaboration with the data team.
• Validate UX modifications through A/B testing (using GrowthBook or similar tools) — hypothesis formulation, implementation, and result analysis.
• Establish, maintain, and evolve a clear and scalable design system (implemented directly in the frontend, rather than first in Figma).
• Lead and guide designers and frontend engineers involved in UI/UX tasks — defining the criteria for completion.
• Set the standards for visual and interaction quality across the product.
• Create a structured research practice — establish priorities, conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
• Convert raw research findings into prioritized, actionable product decisions.
• Mentor and elevate the existing UX researcher on the team — providing structure, frameworks, and clear priorities.
• 5–8+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or design leadership, preferably within D2C, SaaS, or consumer digital products.
• Strong, hands-on capability to independently analyze product data — you extract your own funnels without waiting for reports.
• Extensive experience with Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude, or other similar product analytics platforms.
• Ability to interpret cohort and retention data, identify trends, and develop hypotheses from raw data.
• Experience in designing and executing A/B tests (using GrowthBook, Optimizely, or similar tools) from start to finish.
• Proven track record of driving measurable enhancements in retention, activation, or LTV.
• Solid understanding of conversion funnels, retention loops, and user behavior on a large scale.
• Background in CRO (conversion rate optimization) or growth-focused design.
• Strong design credentials with a portfolio showcasing conversion-driven, data-validated projects.
• Experience in leading or managing design teams — providing direction, reviewing work, and enhancing team quality.
• Ability to establish and uphold a consistent, high-quality design system.
• Proven proficiency in gathering both qualitative and quantitative user insights.
• Experience in designing and conducting user interviews, surveys, and research methodologies.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Competitive salary with performance-based bonus potential.
• Significant leadership opportunities — you'll influence both the product and the team dynamics.
• Direct impact on a product utilized by hundreds of thousands of users — every UX enhancement is quantifiable.
