This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Strategically plan and implement generative research methods such as user interviews, contextual inquiries, diary studies, and ethnographic observations to identify unmet needs and potential opportunities.
• Design and conduct evaluative research, including usability studies, concept testing, prototype reviews, and survey validations at critical product milestones.
• Collaboratively define research questions with product, design, and engineering teams, and take full responsibility for execution from participant recruitment to synthesis of findings.
• Create and maintain a research repository that ensures insights are easily discoverable and actionable for various teams.
• Clearly present findings to diverse audiences, from individual contributors to senior leadership, adjusting the depth and format of the information according to the audience's needs.
• Champion user advocacy in roadmap discussions and prioritization processes, supported by concrete evidence.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of team research standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Over 5 years of experience in UX research, showcasing a proven mixed-methods approach that includes both generative and evaluative research.
• Extensive expertise in qualitative research methods (such as interviews, contextual inquiries, and diary studies) and a solid understanding of quantitative research methods (including surveys, behavioral analytics, and A/B testing interpretation).
• Experience in recruiting and managing research participants from diverse demographics.
• Demonstrated ability to design research that influences product decisions rather than merely informing them.
• Familiarity with research operations, including vendor management, tools, panels, and research repositories.
• Capability to produce well-crafted synthesis artifacts—like journey maps, mental model diagrams, and opportunity frameworks—that are actionable for designers and product managers.
• Proficiency in Figma or similar tools for creating research communication materials and lightweight prototypes.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient for building and modifying interactive prototypes for research purposes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven history of influencing product direction through research insights.
• Experience in facilitating workshops, alignment sessions, and research presentations with cross-functional teams.
