Utilization Management Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate communication across departments and manage special projects, programs, policies, and procedures, alongside care management services.

• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and provide education to the team.

• Establish processes that ensure satisfaction for those we serve.

• Oversee compliance with HFAP, as well as state and federal agencies regarding Utilization/Denial management activities.

• Supervise direct reports and enhance individual performance through continuous coaching, feedback, and development, fostering a high-performing team.

• Make decisions for direct reports within the assigned function and handle people management tasks, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, staff planning, and interviews.

• Manage and supervise Utilization Management operations in partnership with the Manager and Director, ensuring proper utilization and denial management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.

• An active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Nursing/Patient Care is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in Utilization or Case Management is preferred.
