This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• **How you will contribute to our success:**
• In the role of Utility Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• - Developing and overseeing utility-scale customers throughout EMEA, focusing on EPCs, Developers, Investors, and IPPs.
• - Driving sales of utility-scale PV inverter solutions, MV station solutions, and associated service offerings.
• - Establishing a qualified project pipeline and managing opportunities from lead generation to qualification, tendering, negotiation, award, and handover.
• - Identifying market potential, targeting customers, project pipelines, and new business opportunities in key EMEA nations.
• - Managing commercial negotiations, tender submissions, framework discussions, and customer procurement processes.
• - Collaborating with the Technical Manager and Application/Proposal Engineer to ensure high-quality technical proposals and timely responses to customers.
• - Working alongside the Head of Utility EMEA on pricing strategies, account prioritization, project approvals, and major deal escalations.
• - Conducting regular meetings with customers, sales reviews, project updates, and opportunity qualification sessions.
• - Providing feedback on products, markets, and competitors to internal teams to aid in product development, certification, and go-to-market strategies.
• - Supporting marketing initiatives, trade fairs, customer workshops, and reference project development in close collaboration with the Utility Marketing Manager.
• - Monitoring customer needs, competitor activities, tender requirements, and procurement trends in the utility-scale segment.
• - Assisting with accounts receivable, order processing, forecasting, and other sales-related functions as necessary.
• - Representing SOLPLANET in a professional manner during customer meetings, industry events, and internal reviews.
• **Your experience and qualifications:**
• - A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in renewable energy, ideally in utility-scale PV, solar inverters, energy storage, or MV solutions.
• - A proven history of developing customer relationships and successfully closing project-based sales.
• - A strong understanding of the utility-scale PV value chain, including EPCs, Developers, Investors, IPPs, and procurement models.
• - Familiarity with PV inverter solutions, basic system design, grid code requirements, competitive landscapes, and tender specifications.
• - Capability to identify new opportunities, qualify projects, and convert the pipeline into orders.
• - Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and account management skills.
• - Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, and project documentation.
• - Ability to collaborate closely with technical, application, product, service, finance, and HQ teams.
• - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• - Fluent in English; knowledge of Polish or another European language is a plus.
• - Willingness to travel regularly throughout Europe.
