This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
β’ Conducting inspections and monitoring of utility construction projects related to natural gas, electricity, telecommunications, and municipal infrastructure.
β’ Ensuring that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, approved plans, specifications, and relevant federal, state, local, and company standards.
β’ Acting as a third-party representative on behalf of the utility or facility owner.
β’ Safeguarding public safety, infrastructure integrity, and overall project quality.
β’ Previous experience or knowledge in natural gas, electric, telecommunications, or municipal utility construction is advantageous, but not mandatory.
β’ Strong grasp of utility safety protocols, excavation standards, and damage prevention regulations.
β’ Capability to read and comprehend construction plans, specifications, and utility maps.
β’ Ability to work autonomously in the field and manage multiple locations on a daily basis.
β’ Familiarity with mobile technology and electronic reporting systems such as ArcGIS -Survey123 and/or Field Maps is advantageous, but not essential.
β’ Experience with GPS tools like Trimble and/or Topcon is preferred, but not a requirement.
