
User Researcher – Legal AI Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify research requirements while overseeing the design, planning, and execution of in-depth qualitative research studies (such as interviews, contextual observations, and diary studies) alongside quantitative surveys.
• Utilize analysis techniques like parametric/non-parametric testing or semantic analysis to assess user behavior and generate actionable product insights.
• Work in partnership with fellow researchers, product designers, engineers, product managers, and legal professionals on research initiatives or to validate concepts and enhance user experience.
• Develop and contribute to various artifacts including personas, journey maps, our research insights database, and comprehensive reports.
• Clearly present findings to stakeholders, advocate for user needs, and assist in refining our research frameworks.
• Help shape the strategic direction of our Legal AI by comprehensively understanding and articulating the key concerns of our users.
• A valid residence and working permit for Germany.
• Proficiency in both German and English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• Over 1 year of user research experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or regulated sectors such as FinTech or LegalTech.
• A degree in HCI, Psychology, Human Factors, or a related discipline.
• Strong mixed-methods capabilities (including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and analytics) with a proven ability to translate data into clear user insights.
• Familiarity with tools like Figma/FigJam and a strong background in collaborative, dynamic, and iterative work environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to guide teams through the research process.
• A portfolio and experience with remote research is considered an asset.
