This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• An impact-driven methodology for planning, executing, and conveying research studies aimed at comprehending user behavior, requirements, use cases, and workflows while pinpointing opportunities for making an impact.
• Assisting the product team by researching user objectives, needs, and cognitive frameworks, as well as conducting usability tests on solution concepts and prototypes, including early-stage AI-driven experiences.
• Contributing to the assessment of conceptual ideas and prototypes as part of our comprehensive AI-driven product development.
• Enhancing our participant recruitment processes and channels by closely collaborating with Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Lifecycle Marketing.
• Cultivating a comprehensive understanding of users and products, continuously updating and maintaining knowledge of all changes to effectively understand the use cases that drive their functionalities.
• Gaining a clear insight into the competitive landscape, guiding research direction, and identifying opportunities for disruption and innovation.
• Presenting key insights through readouts, workshops, and presentations.
• Over 5 years of pertinent industry experience in leading research in senior positions within a lean, agile, and delivery-oriented environment.
• Proficient in formulating research plans and delivering essential insights through user interviews, identifying Job-to-Be-Done (JTBD), defining personas, implementing usability testing and other user-testing methodologies, as well as constructing and facilitating critical workshops and presentations for stakeholders and the broader GoTo audience.
• Ability to identify research opportunities and contribute to the research roadmap, ensuring a balance between strategic and tactical feedback.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a readiness to innovate, complemented by robust self-governance skills.
• Extensive knowledge of qualitative research best practices and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, as our primary customer base (over 500k users) is in the United States and research is conducted exclusively with English-speaking participants.
• Educational background - A degree in Communications, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Centered Design/Computer Science, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, or a related field emphasizing qualitative analysis of human behavior or equivalent experience.
• Research experience in B2B contexts, specifically in understanding customer needs and gathering feedback from administrators, vendors, and managed service providers.
