
U.S. Immigration Legal Assistant, Mandarin Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
• Prepare, organize, and file petitions, applications, and relevant documentation for immigration cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including declarations, affidavits, recommendation letters, and correspondence pertaining to immigration issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients in both Mandarin and English to collect information, provide updates on cases, and address inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain organized and precise digital case files to facilitate efficient tracking and management of documents.
• Oversee and update CRM and case management systems, including tools such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com.
• Monitor filing deadlines, track the progress of cases, and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks.
• Work closely with attorneys and legal support staff on case preparation, strategic planning, and workflow management.
• Leverage legal technology and AI-assisted tools to enhance efficiency, organization, and overall management of cases.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal environment (required).
• Experience in immigration law is highly preferred; however, outstanding candidates with experience in other legal areas are encouraged to apply.
• A law degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal Mandarin and English (required).
• Experience with legal case management and CRM platforms such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com is essential.
• Strong drafting, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines, performance objectives, and quality standards in a professional setting.
• Strong capability in utilizing AI tools to improve work product and efficiency is highly desirable.
