This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate clinical documentation to assign and order diagnostic and procedural codes
• Confirm APC calculations for accuracy
• Conduct documentation reviews and assessments to ensure precise abstracting
• Collaborate with client personnel and healthcare providers
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient and provider information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• A valid AHIMA or AAPC certification
• A minimum of two years of recent and applicable hands-on coding experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Capability to consistently achieve a 95% coding accuracy rate
• Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office
