Medical Coding Supervisor – Epic Professional Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• The DBO Lead Supervisor oversees teams engaged in revenue cycle operations across various clients.

• Acts as a primary contact for domestic business office personnel regarding day-to-day time management.

• Requires consistent and effective communication through phone, email, and instant messaging with different client teams.

• Facilitates client-facing meetings by preparing agendas, issues logs, report packages, and other relevant materials to support discussions.

• Monitors team performance metrics, including individual productivity, quality measures, and client-specific service level agreements.

• Works in collaboration with HMS Shared Services to finalize the onboarding process for new clients, staff assignments, and point solutions.

• Aligns team members with the appropriate shifts to meet client operational hour requirements.

• Develops and maintains the unit budget and key performance indicators for utilization, including project and client-specific budgets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess current permanent U.S. work authorization.

• Preferred: 5+ years of Revenue Cycle experience within a multi-facility, integrated health care delivery system or consulting background.

• Experience with Epic PB Coding is essential.

• CPC coding certification is mandatory.

• Preferred: At least 1+ years of leadership experience in a multi-facility, integrated health care delivery system or consulting environment.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
