
Urology Billing Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound phone communications (6–8 hours daily) to assist patients, insurance providers, and healthcare facilities with billing inquiries and account resolutions.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by clearly and professionally explaining medical billing statements, insurance claims, payment options, and account balances.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denied claims, and payment issues while ensuring accuracy and adherence to healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Accurately document all customer interactions, account updates, and payment arrangements within billing and CRM systems.
• Work in collaboration with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to facilitate prompt claim processing and issue resolution.
• Uphold productivity and quality standards in a dynamic call center or billing environment, while exhibiting empathy and professionalism in every interaction.
• Process patient payments, set up payment plans, and educate customers on insurance coverage and billing practices.
• Safeguard patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations throughout all customer communications and account management.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (any discipline).
• Previous work experience in healthcare or health insurance is preferred.
