Urgent Care, Telehealth Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide direct care within the virtual urgent care and observation unit.

• Offer clinical supervision and education to a group of advanced practice providers.

• Cultivate a collaborative and supportive clinical atmosphere.

• Conduct clinical rounds and provide guidance on complex situations.

• Administer urgent care via video telehealth consultations and a multidisciplinary team.

• Oversee patient management in the virtual observation unit, including acute-on-chronic disease exacerbations.

• Follow evidence-based practices while integrating patient and family priorities.

• Conduct medication reviews and facilitate deprescribing.

• Link patients with primary care and comprehensive care programs.

• Assist with complex care, behavioral health, chronic disease management, and palliative care initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified physician.

• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience.

• Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care.

• Telehealth experience is preferred.

• Multi-state licensure is preferred or a willingness to acquire additional licensure.

• Proficient in learning and using electronic health data and medical record systems, including video, telephonic, and AI platforms.

• Experience in acute care environments, such as Emergency Departments, Urgent Care, hospital medicine, or similar settings.

• Experience in caring for older adults.

• Familiarity with population health or value-based care initiatives.

• Spanish fluency is an advantage, though not mandatory.

• Full-time, salaried position.
