This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations, assess, diagnose, propose treatment plans, and accurately document findings in a timely manner.
• Provide high-quality patient care while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Record patient medical information and review their history during each visit.
• Refer patients or consult with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Educate and counsel patients on health-related issues.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as required.
• Assess, triage, and manage both pediatric and adult patients for acute care, with experience in chronic disease management and mental health conditions.
• Stay updated on current medical research and trends actively.
• Offer administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test outcomes.
• Availability for scheduling that includes evenings and weekends.
• Completion of a 3-year residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• **Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient environment.**
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual board certification in Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
• Eligibility for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC) is mandatory.
• **Possession of an active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state; residency in an IMLC state is required.**
• **Experience and comfort in providing care for all age groups, from newborns to adults.**
• Ability to operate effectively within an integrated medical practice.
• Comprehensive clinical expertise across various areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven proficiency with technology.
• Not currently excluded or sanctioned by any state or federal healthcare program, including Medicare or Medicaid, and not identified as an “excluded person” by the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services or the General Services Administration (GSA), nor reprimanded or sanctioned by Medicare.
• Must maintain active status with Medicare.
