This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Conduct age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations, assess, diagnose, formulate treatment plans, and accurately document findings in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring safety standards are upheld.
• Record patient medical information and review their medical history during each visit.
• Seek consultations or referrals from other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Educate and counsel patients effectively.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as required.
• Evaluate, triage, and manage pediatric and adult patients in acute care, with experience in chronic disease management and mental health conditions.
• Stay informed about the latest medical research and trends.
• Offer administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings and weekends.
• Completion of a 3-year residency in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient environment.
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual board certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license in at least one state; residing in an IMLC state is necessary.
• Experience and comfort in providing care across all age groups, from newborns to adults.
• Ability to operate effectively within an integrated medical practice.
• Extensive clinical expertise across a broad range of specialties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with technological tools.
• Not currently excluded or sanctioned by any state or federal healthcare program, including Medicare or Medicaid, and not identified as an “excluded person” by the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services or the General Services Administration (GSA), nor reprimanded or sanctioned by Medicare.
• Must maintain active status with Medicare.
