This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Perform age-appropriate medical history assessments and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide array of conditions throughout all stages of life.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests as required.
• Create and document treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Oversee the management of acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Seek consultation or referrals from other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated on clinical best practices and evidence-based care methodologies.
• Provide cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results.
• Offer flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.
• Completion of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, following graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Possession of an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, with a maintained Registered Nurse (RN) license, in line with state regulations.
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Active RN compact license.
• Active multi-state licensure **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• A minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Experience in providing care to patients from newborns to adults.
• Capability to operate within an integrated medical practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a diverse range of medical conditions.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills.
• Competence with technology and electronic medical records systems.
• Maintain active Medicare status - in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs.
