This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of health conditions throughout different age groups.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests.
• Create and document treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Coordinate consultations or referrals with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated with the latest clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
• Offer cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results.
• Provide flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.
• Graduate from an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, following graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Hold an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and maintain Registered Nurse (RN) licensure as per state regulations.
• Possess current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Have an active RN compact license.
• Maintain active multi-state licensure **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Experience in providing care to patients from newborns to adults.
• Ability to operate effectively within an integrated medical practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and capability to manage a diverse range of health conditions.
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and patient engagement.
• Proficient in technology and electronic medical records.
• Maintain active Medicare status, being in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs.
