This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a diverse range of health conditions throughout various stages of life.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests as required.
• Create and document treatment plans promptly and accurately.
• Oversee the management of acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Seek consultations or referrals from other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
• Provide cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results.
• Offer flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.
• Graduate from an accredited Master's or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, having previously completed an accredited nursing program.
• Hold an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license while maintaining Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in compliance with state regulations.
• Possess current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Have an active RN compact license.
• Maintain active multi-state licensure **(preferably 5+ licenses)**.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Experience in providing care to patients from newborns to adults.
• Capability to operate within an integrated medical practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and capacity to manage a wide range of health conditions.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and patient engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in technology and electronic medical records.
• Maintain active Medicare status - in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs.
