Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Perform age-appropriate medical history assessments and virtual examinations.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse array of health conditions across all age groups.

• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests as required.

• Create and document treatment plans accurately and promptly.

• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients.

• Coordinate consultations or referrals with other healthcare professionals when necessary.

• Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans.

• Stay updated on clinical best practices and evidence-based care methodologies.

• Provide cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results.

• Offer flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, following graduation from an accredited nursing school.

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, compliant with state regulations.

• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.

• Active RN compact license.

• Active multi-state licensure **(preferably 5+ licenses)**.

• At least 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.

• Experience providing care to patients ranging from newborns to adults.

• Capability to operate within an integrated medical practice.

• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage a wide variety of conditions.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and patient engagement abilities.

• Proficient in technology and electronic medical records.

• Maintain active Medicare status - Must be in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from federal health program participation.
