This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide variety of conditions throughout the lifespan.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests.
• Create and document treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Oversee acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Seek consultation or referral from other healthcare professionals when needed.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated on clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
• Offer cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results.
• Provide flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.
• Graduate from an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, following completion of an accredited nursing school.
• Hold an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license along with a maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in compliance with state regulations.
• Possess current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from AANP or ANCC.
• Have an active RN compact license.
• Maintain active multi-state licensure **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Demonstrate experience in providing care to patients ranging from newborns to adults.
• Ability to operate within an integrated medical practice.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment and manage a diverse range of conditions.
• Possess excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement abilities.
• Be proficient with technology and electronic medical records.
• Maintain active Medicare status - in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs.
• Embrace a remote-first culture.
