This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Site Evaluation and Acquisition

• Perform comprehensive assessments of potential locations, including planning, policy, technical, commercial, and legal viability.

• Analyze zoning laws, planning histories, environmental limitations, heritage considerations, and infrastructure factors.

• Assess the development potential while identifying risks, limitations, and opportunities that could influence acquisition strategies or development results.

• Propose planning-led phasing and mitigation strategies to minimize risks associated with proposals and ensure alignment with policy requirements.

• Assist the Acquisition team by delivering clear, evidence-based planning insights during the initial site evaluation phase.

• Support for Planning Applications

• Collaborate closely with Design Architects and the Planning Team to confirm that schemes comply with policies, are technically sound, and are positioned for approval.

• Prepare and assist with planning submissions, including Planning Statements, Design and Access Statements (DAS), feasibility reports, and other supporting documents.

• Review design proposals for adherence to planning policies, zoning regulations, and environmental standards, providing advice on necessary early modifications.

• Engage confidently with stakeholders, including planning officers, neighbors, and consultees throughout the application process.

• Service Offerings and External Client Engagement

• Interact directly with external clients to comprehend project goals, offer planning guidance, and support service delivery outcomes.

• Execute planning appraisals, feasibility analyses, and risk evaluations for client projects.

• Collaborate with external consultants (such as ecologists, surveyors, and transport specialists) to collect essential information for both internal and client planning tasks.

• Maintain strong, professional communication to guide clients through constraints, risks, and planning strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• A robust background in Architecture is essential.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is preferred; degrees in Town Planning, Urban Design, Geography, or related disciplines are acceptable if supported by substantial architectural experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in planning, development, or a related field is required.

• A solid understanding of planning regulations, zoning laws, and development policies is necessary.

• Preferred: experience in feasibility studies, planning appraisals, development evaluations, or acquisition assistance.

• Desirable software proficiencies include CAD, GIS, property databases, and planning tools.
