β’ Deliver services and support as an Upstream Oil & Gas Reservoir Engineer within the Independent Engineering (IE) Advisory Services, focusing on Technical Due Diligence & Engineering Validation for the Upstream Oil & Gas (Exploration / Production) sector in the Energy Industry (Oil, Gas, Power, and Utilities), particularly concentrating on Risk Management Solutions for clients like the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the DOE Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) Program.
β’ The role of the Upstream Oil & Gas Reservoir Engineer encompasses reservoir analysis, production forecasting, reserves/resource validation, and debt-service production assumptions.
β’ Act as an Upstream Oil & Gas Reservoir Engineer within the Technical Due Diligence & Engineering Validation for Upstream Oil & Gas (Exploration / Production) domain, providing bankable and technically sound Independent Engineering advisory services by transforming specialized engineering, construction, compliance, operating, commercial, and risk insights into lender-ready due diligence, monitoring, certification, and decision-support reports.
β’ Collaborate with various stakeholders from engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, environmental, HSE, and project controls to facilitate prompt decision-making for lenders and the DOE.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, operations, compliance, risk management, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory; proven track record in oil and gas, power, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects for owners, lenders, independent engineers, or federal clients.
β’ Bachelor's degree in engineering, geoscience, petroleum engineering, mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil, environmental, or a related technical discipline.
β’ Preferred credentials include PE, PMP, CSP, API, NACE/AMPP, PMI, or other discipline-specific qualifications where applicable.
β’ Skills primarily focused on Engineering Services initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities in Technical Due Diligence & Engineering Validation for Upstream Oil & Gas (Exploration / Production). This includes independent engineering reviews, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) style documentation, technical due diligence, risk assessment, reservoir characterization, reserves analysis, decline analysis, development planning, production sustainability, data room reviews, information request tracking, report writing, Excel analysis, stakeholder coordination, and effective presentation of findings for credit, construction, monitoring, and certification decisions.
