Nutanix Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Implement, configure, and provide support for Nutanix HCI environments for various clients

• Manage and uphold Nutanix AOS, AHV virtualization, Prism Element, and Prism Central

• Facilitate infrastructure initiatives such as cluster deployments and migrations

• Conduct troubleshooting and resolve issues across compute, storage, and virtualization layers

• Assist in configuring backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions

• Monitor system health and performance metrics

• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on design execution

• Ensure accurate documentation, configurations, and runbooks are maintained

• Address client requests, incidents, and service tickets

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or systems engineering

• Practical experience with Nutanix AOS and AHV

• Comprehensive understanding of virtualization principles

• In-depth knowledge of storage and compute infrastructure

• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals

• Experience in troubleshooting HCI environments and enterprise systems

• Capability to work with various clients while managing competing priorities
