Unreal Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Work closely with the art and design teams to develop and refine gameplay features based on UE5.

• Implement essential game functionalities including application-specific AI, physics, character control, camera management, inventory systems, event handling, and UI.

• Enhance current gameplay systems by identifying and resolving issues in networking, rendering, gameplay logic, profile management, world streaming/relevancy, and more.

• Design and produce robust, well-structured, data-driven code that is easy to maintain and designed for longevity.

• Stay informed about cutting-edge tools and techniques for crafting high-quality, competitive UE-based game applications.

• Create clear technical design and specification documents.

• Contribute innovative ideas across all facets of game production and development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 2 years of experience utilizing Unreal Engine 5 to develop modern gameplay in high-quality production or personal projects.

• Advanced proficiency in C++ and UE Blueprints, with a proven track record in architecting and coding complex gameplay mechanics.

• Experience in resolving intricate technical challenges and demonstrating successful UE problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong mathematical skills in areas such as vector math, spatial transformations, matrices, and trigonometry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to communicate fluently in English (both written and verbal).

• Proficient with source control systems, debuggers, profilers, and other software development tools.

• Self-driven, possess a strong work ethic, and capable of working independently.

• A genuine passion for video games.

• English proficiency: B2 or higher is required.
