This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Designing, documenting, and implementing AI systems focused on behaviors, navigation, perception, and animations.
• Developing AI agents with diverse behaviors, adjustable behavior sets, and pre-scripted sequences.
• Creating combat systems from the ground up while also maintaining existing ones.
• Collaborating closely with combat designers, animators, tech artists, and others to create features and tools for designers.
• Strong understanding of Unreal Engine and its integrated AI systems.
• Proficient in C++ programming.
• In-depth knowledge of potential AI solutions, architectural approaches, techniques, and best practices.
• Proven experience in designing code architecture for various AI-related systems.
• Background in working with AI agents, specifically in combat scenarios.
• Familiarity with current trends and solutions in programming.
• Exceptional teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in English to facilitate daily communication.
• Additionally, the following would be advantageous:
• Experience with the Gameplay Ability System.
• Familiarity with AI solutions beyond Behavior Trees and State Machines (e.g., Utility, GOAP, etc.).
• Experience with Animation Blueprints.
• Skills in creating tools and editor utilities.
• A passion for the horror genre (books, movies, etc.).
