Underwriting Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and authorize exceptions to title policies, endorsements, and requests for coverage.

• Detect risk patterns and assist in implementing process enhancements to mitigate claims risk.

• Analyze title searches/examinations, commitments, and legal descriptions.

• Serve as a resource for team members and offer guidance as needed.

• Generally requires over 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• In-depth knowledge of Texas real estate principles.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent field is preferred.
