Underground Utility Locate Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Identify and mark the locations of underground utilities for both private and public infrastructure using standard industry equipment.

• Interpret utility maps, construction plans, and GIS data effectively.

• Precisely identify and document the locations of underground utilities.

• Assist construction teams by providing accurate utility locates prior to the commencement of excavation.

• Shift into Watch & Protect responsibilities by overseeing excavation activities and aiding in the prevention of utility damage.

• Maintain effective communication with contractors, utility owners, and project managers.

• Complete necessary documentation through mobile applications and company software.

• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in utility locating, construction, telecommunications, or underground utilities is mandatory!

• Capability to work independently with little supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and dedication to safety practices.

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to walk long distances and lift weights of up to 50 pounds.

• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
