Ukrainian-Speaking Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Provide precise, consecutive interpretation between Ukrainian and English via telephone, ensuring a clear, neutral tone and accurate language fidelity.

• Act as an essential linguistic link across various sectors such as emergency medical triage, healthcare consultations, legal support, humanitarian services, insurance claims, and public administration.

• Effectively transmit meaning, context, and emotional subtleties while maintaining strict impartiality and objectivity.

• Comply with international privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and uphold complete confidentiality regarding sensitive, private calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Ukrainian.

• High level of professional English proficiency (C1/C2 level).

• Must possess an EU Passport or a valid Residence/Work Permit/Temporary Protection Status in Portugal (with active NIF and NISS).

• A dedicated, quiet, and private home office environment equipped with high-speed internet (direct Ethernet connection required).

• Excellent active listening skills, quick cognitive processing, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure or emergency situations.
