Ukrainian Remote Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Possess knowledge of the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which the interpreter operates, particularly healthcare and medical fields.

• Deliver all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting any information.

• Maintain the highest level of customer service during the interpretation process.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing accurate and complete interpretations.

• Uphold standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training programs.

• Show eagerness to obtain new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader effectively.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Georgian."

• At least 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare sector is a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Exceptional emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
