This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Accountable for interpreting project briefs and transforming them into engaging user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that facilitate intuitive user experiences, optimized for various devices and interfaces, as well as for internal review and brainstorming sessions.
• Proficient in creating user personas and user scenarios.
• Support the client’s product vision by conducting research, conceptualizing, sketching, prototyping, and testing user experiences for digital products.
• Recognize design challenges and develop refined solutions.
• Make informed strategic design and user-experience choices concerning both existing and new functions and features.
• Employ a user-centered design methodology and quickly test and refine your designs.
• Collaborate with fellow team members and stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of our objectives through usability testing.
• Cultivate insight into the end users of the web or mobile application through both secondary and primary research (user interviews, traffic data).
• Stay updated on emerging technology trends that could significantly impact the Client's operations.
• Aid in pre-sales, post-sales, and product development to attract and retain clients.
• Share insights and best practices with both the Client and the Umpisa Team.
• 2-4 years of UI/UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a history of designing intricate solutions for comprehensive digital environments and possessing graphic design skills.
• Proficiency in standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and similar tools is essential. Basic skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript are advantageous.
• Capability to collaborate with clients to comprehend detailed requirements and design comprehensive user experiences that align with client needs and vision.
• Extensive experience applying UX design best practices to create solutions, along with a thorough understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
• A strong foundation in user-centered design (UCD), including planning and executing user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and addressing usability and accessibility issues.
• Ability to communicate design processes, concepts, and solutions effectively to teams and clients.
• A clear appreciation for the significance of user-centered design and design thinking methodologies.
• Proficient in working collaboratively within a team environment, translating abstract ideas into tangible design outcomes.
• Enthusiastic about collaborating and maintaining close communication with teams and other stakeholders through a distributed model, to consistently deliver design solutions for approval.
• Passionate about addressing user pain points through exceptional design.
• Committed to all aspects of UX and other design and innovation fields. Stay informed and showcase awareness of the latest industry trends and technologies.
