• Create web UI, desktop, and AI-assisted workflows from wireframes to finalized specifications, ready for handoff to engineering.
• Engage in daily collaboration with engineers and project managers to ensure alignment on requirements, limitations, and compromises throughout the design process.
• Contribute to and uphold shared Figma component libraries and design system documentation.
• Design for AI-native interfaces: streaming outputs, loading and uncertainty states, agentic interactions, and dynamic content.
• Take part in design reviews, collect feedback, and rapidly iterate through multiple rounds of revisions.
• Assist in conducting or supporting usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable design modifications.
• A portfolio showcasing deployed web UI projects — demonstrating strong visual craftsmanship, clear interaction design, and genuine product context.
• Proficient in Figma: capable of working with components, prototyping, and facilitating a clean handoff to developers. You should be efficient and organized in Figma.
• Direct experience in designing for AI products — you have contributed to features driven by LLMs, ML models, or generative systems and understand the implications on design challenges.
• Familiarity with contemporary web design principles: responsive layouts, design tokens, basic CSS, and how your designs correlate with code.
• Strong visual design instincts — able to produce work that is both functional and visually appealing.
• Capacity to navigate ambiguity: take an initial brief, ask pertinent questions, and transform it into a coherent design proposal.

• Experience in designing conversational UI, chat interfaces, or AI copilot features.
• Basic HTML/CSS skills or the ability to inspect and modify front-end code.
• Involvement in design systems work — contributing components, drafting usage guidelines, or managing tokens.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to implement them effectively.
