Senior UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, and enhance user experiences according to specified product requirements.

• Generate innovative ideas that simplify and enhance user-friendliness in complex design challenges.

• Create high-level mockups and prototypes to effectively convey design concepts.

• Participate in sprint meetings to gather feedback from the team.

• Collaborate with the product owner to refine initial designs based on collected feedback.

• Evaluate the usability of existing products and recommend improvements.

• Advocate for users within a fast-paced business setting.

• Perform user research and assess user feedback.

• Work alongside other designers to promote new interface guidelines and design patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.

• Over 6 years of experience in UI design, with expertise in pixel-perfect UI for web and mobile.

• Extensive experience in designing mobile applications for enterprise within the Banking & Payments sector.

• Proficient in design tools and technologies such as Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, and Invision.

• Experience with usability testing is a plus.

• Up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in UI design.

• Familiar with responsive design and grid principles.

• Strong skills in typography, layout, and visual design.

• Excellent team player with a collaborative mindset.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
